Kitchen Consultant – make a difference in people’s homes

At Sankt George, the customer is always at the centre. As a Kitchen Consultant, you guide people through choices that stand the test of time – from the first question to that final moment when everything feels just right.

Why this role matters

When our customers renovate their kitchens, it’s about more than doors and measurements. It’s about everyday life, flow, and the feeling of home. You are their trusted guide – capturing needs, explaining options and consequences, keeping track of details, and making the journey simple, personal, and enjoyable. With more than 25 years of production experience behind you, you can offer honest advice and stand confidently by your recommendations.

Your mission

  • Receive inquiries (IKEA Planner/drawings) and turn them into clear, confident proposals.
  • Advise on models, profiles, colours, handles, fillers and smart choices for sustainable living.
  • Verify measurements, opening directions, hinges, and custom solutions – double-check before ordering.
  • Create quotes, explain delivery steps and set expectations for the project timeline.
  • Follow up after delivery and act as the link between customer, planning, and production.
  • Contribute to guides, FAQs, and processes – we develop together.

Who you are

  • Experience in kitchen planning, interior design, carpentry, or another advisory role.
  • Confident communicator – pedagogical and straightforward when needed.
  • Detail-oriented with measurements, drawings, and structure; you value accuracy.
  • Fluent in Swedish; English/Danish/Norwegian is a plus. Comfortable with planning and quoting tools.
  • Curious about materials, colour, and sustainable surfaces.

What we offer

  • Meaningful work – you truly make a difference in people’s homes.
  • Reliable products – precision, quality, and local production.
  • Onboarding and training in our models, materials, and processes.
  • A healthy balance and pace – we plan for quality, not rush.
  • Influence – ideas are welcome; we build our ways of working together.
  • Benefits: competitive salary, wellness allowance, and staff discount (adjust to what you offer).

A day as a Kitchen Consultant

  1. Morning: You review new inquiries, prioritise, and call back customers who’ve requested a follow-up.
  2. Late morning: You review an IKEA Planner, notice a potential oven-door collision and suggest a smart filler – the customer avoids future issues.
  3. After lunch: Colour consultation with a customer deciding between two shades. You show the difference in daylight vs evening light and recommend a timeless tone.
  4. Afternoon: You fine-tune a quote and confirm delivery steps; the customer knows exactly what happens next.
  5. Wrap-up: Quick follow-up with a customer who just received their delivery – you check in and capture feedback for our FAQ.

Customer stories – small decisions, big difference

How we work

  • Clarity: Better one honest “this is how it works best” than five maybes.
  • Care: We listen, guide, and support – without stress.
  • Precision: We measure, double-check, and document.
  • Long-term thinking: We recommend choices that last over time.

The recruitment process

  1. Selection: We review applications continuously.
  2. Phone/Video: Short check-in about experience and expectations.
  3. Interview: In-depth conversation + simple, relevant case exercise.
  4. References: Two calls – focused on collaboration and accuracy.
  5. Offer: We go through terms, start date, and onboarding.
