Production of kitchen doors at Sankt George with CNC machining, sanding and lacquering in modern furniture manufacturing

Our production
The craftsmanship
Sankt George

In our production, everything begins with the material and a deep respect for craftsmanship. With more than 25 years of experience in woodworking and modern CNC machining, we combine traditional knowledge with advanced technology to create kitchen doors and wardrobe doors where every detail matters. Since our founding in 1999, the production has grown into a modern and well-organised furniture manufacturing facility where experience and craftsmanship define every step of the process.

The people behind every front

In our production, technology and craftsmanship meet in a process where experience is just as important as the machines themselves. With more than 25 years of knowledge in woodworking and modern CNC machining, each kitchen door and wardrobe door is shaped through a process where precision and material understanding go hand in hand.

Behind every front are people who can read the structure of the wood, assess surfaces and ensure that every detail meets the standards we expect from our work. Certain steps require a trained eye and a steady hand — skills developed only through many years in the workshop. Throughout the production, several people work on each order, with every step contributing to the final result.

Quality built into every step

For us, quality begins long before a front is finished. It starts with the selection of materials, continues through machining, sanding and finishing, and ends only once every detail has been carefully inspected.

In our production we work with materials chosen for their stability and durability, and every part is processed with the same focus on precision and finish. Our fronts are lacquered with polyurethane-based furniture lacquer — a finish used in professional furniture manufacturing for its durability, colour depth and long-lasting quality. Edges, profiles and surfaces are treated with the same care to create a smooth and durable finish built to last.

Our production has developed over many years through continuous investments in modern machinery and carefully refined production processes. Advanced CNC machining, sanding lines and automated lacquering create the conditions for manufacturing where precision and quality follow every step of the process.
But production is not only about machines. Each order passes through many hands in the workshop, where experience and craftsmanship contribute at every stage — from machining and sanding to finishing and final inspection. Together these steps create a production where capacity meets craftsmanship, and where every kitchen door leaves the factory with the same focus on precision, finish and detail.

Materials we work with

Material is the foundation of every front and determines both the feel, stability and long-term durability. In our production we work with carefully selected materials where quality and reliability always come first. The base of many of our fronts is high-quality MDF, a material that provides a stable construction and a perfectly smooth surface for lacquering.
For our wooden fronts we use selected oak veneer where grain and tone are carefully matched to create a natural and harmonious appearance. By working with materials developed for professional furniture manufacturing, we ensure fronts that feel solid and maintain their quality over time.

Lacquering with professional furniture lacquer

Surface finishing is one of the most important steps in the production. To achieve a finish that is both beautiful and durable, our fronts are lacquered with polyurethane-based furniture lacquer — a finish used in professional furniture manufacturing for its durability and deep colour expression.
The lacquer is applied in multiple layers, with the surface sanded between each step to create a smooth and controlled finish. This process not only produces a beautiful surface but also provides strong protection against everyday wear. The result is a lacquer finish that combines aesthetics and durability, developed for furniture used every day.
